Job Applicant? I don't even have a business!

I received this email with the subject "Look my CV. Thank you":

"Good day..

I have figured out that you have an available job. I am quiet intrested in it. So I send you my resume,

Looking forward to your reply.

Thank you."

Attached was a .zip compressed file which, when opened, presents you with a file named "resume.exe" that has a Word icon. I looked up "resume.exe" and discovered that, among other things, it sets itself up to run every time you start your PC, reads your outlook address book, sends MIME Email, opens browser pop ups, communicates with other computer systems and can delete files and processes from the hard drive!

Don't open it! Even if your virus scanner says it's OK (the virus scanner may not know about the nastiness contained inside yet!).

If you receive one of these and you didn't advertise a job then just delete it.

Updated 18/7/2010:

I have received more of this type of email this week but it has been "updated" to mention the position of clerk and include a photo of the "applicant" (a David Ventre), the attached "documents" are, supposedly, "all documents and a scan of my passport". The message and the photo are, in fact, a single image.

Same applies to this newer twist, the .zip (resume_xxxxx.zip (xxxxx is a varying 5 digit number)) has a nasty .exe enclosed.
